Meet Kyle.

I am a professional Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC) designated Real Estate Appraiser (AACI, P. App), the highest attainable designation in Canada. I am based in St. Catharines, Ontario but my scope of work includes the Niagara and Hamilton/Burlington Regions as well as occasional work in the GTA and other parts of Ontario.

Through extensive and thorough research into varying market and economic data, a broad network of relationships with market participants, and a strong commitment to AIC standards and best practices, I aim to provide appraisal consulting at the highest standard of quality and professionalism. My background in finance, accounting, and statistical analysis gives me a broad foundation which I apply in all of my assignments. Given the small size of many cities/towns within the Niagara and Hamilton/Burlington regions, real estate appraisal is often not an exact science. My breadth of experience with unique property types where market data is very limited has given me the ability to creatively handle any assignment; simple or complex.

I am most often contracted for consulting and appraisal assignments for Development, Commercial, Industrial and Investment type properties and occasionally large scale residential properties. My clients include major property owners and developers who entrust the analysis of some of their most valuable assets to me. My due diligence in regards to data collection and verification, thorough analysis, and creative problem solving gives comfort to the many stakeholders involved in real property.

About the Profession

The real property market is a key building block of the Canadian economy and affects every segment of our society. Unbiased and dependable valuations are critical to the decision-making processes of individuals, businesses, and governments when conducting real property transactions. Appraisal Institute of Canada Designated Members are real estate appraisal professionals who play a direct and vital role in the real estate sector. That role is to determine, report upon, and attest to the real value of property. Their valuation is the foundation upon which informed decisions about real estate are made – whether by a family purchasing its first home, a farmer selling a piece of acreage, a retailer deciding where to locate its next outlet, a developer considering an empty lot, or a lawyer defending or prosecuting a case.
